On 11 April 2024 SAUEI signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with one leading tertiary educational Institute of Western Africa, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) located at Kumasi, on the joint development and execution of international degree programs. The cooperation covers a wide range of academic areas including but not limited to engineering, business, sciences, language study, among others. A notable alumni of KNUST is the late UN Secretary-General and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Kofi Annan, and he had a part of his education at KNUST before he went to study and work abroad.
